Exhibition 2025 - London - Barra B

The exhibition began taking shape in April through Barra B, an organization founded and run by my friend Beatrice Borra, which supports young and emerging artists by providing a platform to share their work. Hosted on August 2nd of this year at CasildArt in Hyde Park, London, it marked the first time I presented my series, Crying Babies, in a professional gallery setting. Beyond exhibiting, I assisted in preparing and installing the show, gaining valuable insight into the logistics of art handling, transportation, and display.

An unexpected highlight was selling one of my pieces, with part of the proceeds going back to Barra B to support future opportunities for other artists. Equally important was the chance to collaborate with fellow artists and work alongside the gallery team. Through this, I developed practical skills in transporting, wrapping, and arranging artworks, an often-overlooked dimension of artistic practice that taught me how essential presentation and care are in shaping the audience’s experience.

This exhibition not only strengthened my practical understanding of exhibition-making, but also gave me a deeper sense of direction in my work. Bringing the series into a public space allowed me to see it in dialogue with viewers, affirming both my growth as a painter and my commitment to pursuing art seriously.
